In March 2020 I was part of a team teaching and training on outreach and evangelism in Silverdale, Newcastle under Lyme. As part of one of the sessions
we went out to meet people on the streets and knock on doors, one of the doors that we knocked on was Lizzie's, we were invited in and shared the Gospel
with her, she gladly received Jesus as her saviour, she then mentioned that she was deaf in one ear and had very limited sight, we prayed for her
believing the promise of Mark:
“You shall lay hands on the sick and they will recover”
- Mark 16v18
As we prayed for her eye sight it was restored so that she could clearly tell how many fingers were held before her from 12 feet away, she couldn’t
see that far before prayer. Also, as we prayed for her hearing that was restored too, what a wonderful God we serve.
